How did you start?

Back in January 2007 Jo Pole decided she needed a new venture in life so decided to quit her current job to start her own business.


The result was the birth of 'Dazzlers' & after purchasing some cleaning products, an old faithful Henry, mop, bucket, feather duster & some freshly printed leaflets, Jo went out looking for work.


After 17 years, a marriage, two kids, a lot of hard work...and a little help from her husband along the way, Jo has built Dazzlers into a company that now employs many staff to help cope with the high demand for it's services.

Who runs the business now?

The business is still owner managed & ran by Jo & Steve Pole as they pride themselves on providing a first class quality of service. In addition, all staff are directly employed by the business which helps to ensure the whole team works together to provide the level of service that Dazzlers is known for.


In 2019 Steve officially joined the business and following the trials & tribulations of the pandemic years, they have together managed to rebuild & continue to grow the business.


In 2022 Dazzlers moved into a new office in Quorn & in May 2023 they officially launched their Laundry & Ironing services for both domestic & commercial clients across Leicestershire.


Following further growth of the business, Dazzlers finally moved in May 2024 into their new, larger premises in Barrow upon Soar. With new state of the art laundry & finishing equipment they are now fully operational providing laundry services to many domestic & commercial customers across the Midlands.

What are your core values?

We have 3 principles which shape the way we work. Our 3 core values are:

Independent

We care about our reputation & pride ourselves on being big enough to provide the services our Domestic & Commercial customers want, whilst still being involved enough to care.


Being owner managed we have the ability to adapt & bespoke our services to our customer's specific needs, whatever they may be.

Friendly

We want our staff to enjoy their work and our customers to be pleased with our service. Part of that is encouraging open & honest dialogue so that Customers  feel comfortable in letting us know if something isn't quite the way you want it.


As we offer a bespoke service, we don't mind admitting that we don't always get things 100% right first time. We will however, work hard to rectify any issues that may arise & ensure we provide the best possible service going forward.

Professional

We take what we do seriously and aim to offer a professional service at all times. We provide clear instructions to our staff & a standard agreement for our customers ensuring you have clear expectations of the service you are to receive.

Over the past year, we’ve made significant investments into how our business operates behind the scenes. From new systems and smarter scheduling to improved communication and streamlined processes, everything is designed to make your experience smoother, more reliable and more consistent.


We’ve introduced new internal systems and automations to ensure:

  • Clear communication with every customer


Alongside this, we’ve continued to strengthen our processes around security, staff management and quality control — giving you complete peace of mind when inviting us into your home or workplace.


We’ve also expanded and refined our services, particularly within our laundry and specialist cleaning offering, allowing us to provide even more value to our customers.


This ongoing investment means we’re not just maintaining standards — we’re raising them.
