Laundry Service Terms & Conditions


Clear, straightforward terms outlining how our laundry services work, including turnaround times, care standards, and responsibilities.

Turnaround Times


Standard turnaround is 2 working days for laundry, ironing, and WetCare® services.

 

Certain items require extended processing times and will typically take up to 5 working days. These include (but are not limited to):

 

  • Curtains
  • Dresses and delicate garments
  • Coats and jackets
  • Heavily soiled items
  • Items requiring air drying or specialist handling

 

Turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on item type and workload.

Where applicable, extended turnaround times will be advised at the point of booking.

 


Express Services


Priority express 24-hour service is available subject to capacity and is charged at +25%.

Same-day service is available on request and priced individually.

 


Minimum Order Value


  • £24 minimum order applies to collection & delivery services
  • £12 minimum order applies to drop-off and collection services

 


Collection & Delivery


Collection and delivery are included within a 4-mile radius of LE12 8LP.

A charge of £2 per visit applies outside this area.

 


Laundry Load Sizes


  • Large Load – approx. up to 10kg (roughly one large bag-for-life)
  • Extra Large Load – approx. up to 14kg (roughly a full laundry bag)

 

Loads are estimated based on volume and weight. Overfilled bags may be split into multiple loads and charged accordingly.

 


Laundry Preparation


All laundry must be provided in a suitable closed or zipped bag or basket.

 

Reusable laundry bags are available:

 

  • Small – £5
  • Medium – £10
  • Large – £15
  • (Bag cost refundable upon return)

 


Washing Process

 

Items are washed at 40°C and tumble dried on a standard setting unless otherwise agreed.

 

Laundry is separated by colour and, where appropriate, fabric type.

 

Customers must clearly identify any items requiring special care.

If special requirements are not communicated, we cannot accept responsibility for the outcome.



Garment Care & Liability Disclaimer

 

All items are cleaned at the customer’s risk.

 

Whilst every care is taken, we cannot accept responsibility for:

 

  • Colour loss or dye transfer
  • Shrinkage or fabric distortion
  • Damage to delicate or worn fabrics
  • Pre-existing damage or weaknesses
  • Changes occurring during the first wash of new garments

 

Liability for any proven loss or damage is limited to a maximum of 5 times the cleaning charge for the affected item.

 


Ironing & Finishing

 

Garments are hung as standard.

 

Hangers can be provided at 15p each.

Folding is available at 30p per item upon request.

 


Overdrying Disclaimer

 

Items that have been overdried prior to ironing may not achieve our usual finishing standard.

 


Hygiene & Restricted Items

 

We reserve the right to refuse items.

 

We do not process:

 

  • Heavily soiled items without prior agreement
  • Items presenting a hygiene risk
  • Pet beds or pet bedding

 

Please contact us in advance if you require specialist cleaning of heavily soiled items.

 


Loss or Damage Claims

 

Any issues must be reported within 48 hours of collection or delivery.

 

Claims reported outside this timeframe may not be accepted.

 


Uncollected Items

 

Items not collected within 30 days may be subject to storage charges or disposal.

 



Payment Terms

 

Payment is due upon collection or delivery unless otherwise agreed.

 

We accept all major debit/credit cards, contactless, and Apple/Google Pay.
